Submissions

To support our advocacy work with governments, Business NSW produces well-argued, compelling papers and submissions on public policy issues that impact business.

The issues we focus on include red tape reduction, taxation, workforce skills, infrastructure, workplace health and safety and workplace relations.

To influence government, Business NSW must offer practical solutions so governments can meet policy objectives while minimising negative impacts on business.

Submissions play a key role by identifying and providing evidence of the types of challenges faced by business.  Our submissions provide feedback from a business perspective and recommend viable solutions.

How we do this

Our aim is to give constructive and persuasive advice to governments, using feedback based on the experience of many businesses, and the expertise and experience of our in-house expert policy managers.

Member-based policy committees guide Business NSW advocacy positions and its State Council (of member businesses) approves broad advocacy directions.
