Meet the northern rivers Team
Jane is the Regional Director of Business NSW for the Northern Rivers, where she leads the charge on regional advocacy, business support, and economic development across one of the most diverse corners of the state.
She’s spent the better part of two decades working at the intersection of business, community and government, with deep experience in marketing, stakeholder engagement, and place-based strategy. From small towns to regional centres, Jane’s focus is always the same: unlocking potential and making sure local voices are heard where decisions are made.
She’s known for her big-picture thinking, and relentless backing of regional business. If it matters to the Northern Rivers economy, chances are Jane’s already on it.
Samantha is the Strategic Partnerships Manager at Business NSW Northern Rivers, where she works closely with business leaders and key stakeholders to build valuable connections, share insights and create opportunities that support business growth and strengthen the regional economy.
Drawing on extensive experience in marketing, stakeholder engagement and event delivery, Samantha is skilled at bringing people together around shared opportunities and turning relationships into meaningful collaboration. She is passionate about ensuring Northern Rivers businesses are connected to the networks, advocacy and opportunities they need to thrive.
Sam is instrumental in delivering the Northern Rivers Regional Leaders Program and is a trusted ‘go-to’ for members and stakeholders seeking to progress a thought leadership idea, make the right connection or turn an opportunity into action.
Having grown up in the Northern Rivers, Samantha brings both strong professional capability and a genuine understanding of the people, places and industries that make the region unique. She is committed to fostering a connected, confident and collaborative Northern Rivers business community.
