Business NSW Mid North Coast strives to make the Mid North Coast a better place to live, work and do business.
We advocate for public and private investment that promotes the economic growth and diversification of the region and policies that support businesses to grow, prosper and create jobs.
We engage with decision makers and policy influencers at local, state and federal government levels to highlight the priorities and needs of business and industry in the Mid North Coast. We are the go-to organisation for government leaders and journalists seeking feedback, analysis or comment on regional business issues.

HOW WE GET RESULTS
We talk to our members, then we ensure their views are heard by politicians and policy makers.

Mid North Coast Skills & Training Ecosystem Pilot
The Mid North Coast Skills & Training Ecosystem Pilot is focused on strengthening how industry, education and community partners work together to support workforce development across the region.
Emerging from the success of our Skills and Training Summit, the project responds to a clear opportunity: while many organisations are delivering strong outcomes independently, there are gaps between systems that limit scale, coordination and long-term impact. This pilot is designed to help bridge those gaps and create clearer, more connected pathways between learning, skills development and employment.
By bringing partners together around a shared, place-based approach, the pilot aims to test a model that can adapt to priority industries as partnerships are formed, generate practical insights, and inform solutions that can be replicated more broadly over time.
Ultimately, the project is about building a more resilient skills ecosystem that supports business growth, workforce participation and the long-term prosperity of the Mid North Coast.

Housing & Infrastructure
Housing supply and enabling infrastructure have emerged as critical pressure points for the Mid North Coast, directly affecting workforce availability, business growth and regional liveability. In response, Business NSW Mid North Coast has identified housing and infrastructure as a priority advocacy focus through to the 2027 NSW State Election, consolidating regional input to inform ten clear, practical actions for reform and investment.
Building on the housing reforms highlighted at our 2025 summit, we will host a Housing and Infrastructure Summit on 28 April 2026, bringing together councils, industry and government to provide the region with an update on current reforms, local delivery efforts and the barriers still constraining progress.
This work is focused on ensuring planning systems, infrastructure funding and delivery pathways are aligned to unlock housing supply, support economic growth and sustain our region as a place where businesses and communities can thrive.
