Business NSW Podcast on AI, Cyber and Leadership

Business conditions are shifting faster than ever – rising costs, global uncertainty, cyber incidents, and AI arriving in the workplace whether we planned for it or not.

That’s why Business NSW, in collaboration with Microsoft, is launching a new podcast series for business owners, directors and senior leaders – focused on real conversations, not tech jargon.

This podcast is designed to cut through the noise and focus on what actually matters to NSW businesses right now.

What we’ll be talking about

Each episode tackles the questions leaders are already asking (or wish they had asked earlier), including:

  • AI for business in a time of uncertainty
  • What your cyber insurance provider probably doesn’t say out loud
  • AI is staff retention – use it or lose them
  • And many more practical, leadership level discussions

No hype. No fear mongering. Just honest, experience driven conversations with experts and business leaders.

How you can get involved

We want this podcast to reflect the real challenges and perspectives of NSW businesses, and there are three easy ways to participate:

  1. Be a guest on the podcast: Share your experience, lessons learned, or perspective as a business leader navigating AI, cyber risk, growth and change.
  2. Submit questions or topics: Tell us what you want answered – the awkward questions, the practical concerns, or the things no one explains clearly.
  3. Help interview the experts: Join us as a co interviewer and help put the questions on the table that matter most to business owners.

You don’t need to be technical – just curious, thoughtful, and willing to engage.

Why this matters

This podcast is about helping NSW businesses make better decisions with confidence – around AI, cyber security, data, and leadership – without feeling overwhelmed or left behind.

Your voice helps ensure the conversation stays grounded in real business reality, not theory.
