Just three hours from Sydney and two and a half hours from Canberra, Ulladulla beckons with its blend of beachside joy, culinary delights, and natural exploration. Perfect for families seeking a blend of relaxation and adventure, this four-day itinerary promises a seamless blend of fun, food, and discovery, ensuring that Ulladulla becomes a beloved chapter in your families story.

The following itinerary is developed for the Carter family, who have been coming to Ulladulla annually for the last few years. They return each year because of the range of options of activities and experiences for their family to enjoy as they grow older.

Day 1: Arrival and Coastal Exploration

Morning: Drive 3hrs from Sydney to Ulladulla. The Carter family’s journey to Ulladulla begins with a morning arrival, setting the tone for a day of exploration and fun. Kickstart your adventure with a brunch at the Treehouse Café, where the charming cottage vibes provide a warm welcome. This eco-aware café is famed for its handmade eats made from wholefoods.  Nutritious big breakfasts, crafted lunch bowls, delectable seasonal salads, soups and scrummy burgers are all made to order with lots of love in the charming renovated cottage in the heart of Ulladulla. 

Post-brunch, walk 300m to Ulladulla Harbour and take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque Ulladulla Foreshore, soaking in the coastal beauty.

Afternoon: Jump in the car and drive 8 minutes to savour the local flavours with a family-friendly lunch at Delly’s Milton. Known for its scrumptious sandwiches, Delly’s is the newly opened casual eatery by the team behind Small Town Provisions. Delly’s maintains the same DNA as Small Town but with a more family-friendly, grab-and-go kind of vibe.

Sweeten the day with a visit to Woodstock Chocolates Co. (a 3 minute walk away), delighting in the handcrafted Belgian chocolates from husband and wife chocolatiers Joanne and Dan.

The adventure continues with a Drive 10 minutes back to Ulladulla check-in at Holiday Haven Ulladulla, where a cosy cabin awaits. The kids can then jump into afternoon fun at the playground, jumping pillow, mini-golf or nearby sea-pool. The holiday park is just a short walk from the main street shops, making it easy to trek into town for supplies.

Evening: The first day wraps up, allowing the family to unwind and relish the serene holiday park atmosphere, preparing for the adventures ahead.
