Businesses and primary producers impacted by the recent flooding across the Mid North Coast can now access financial and practical support.
Rod Barnaby, Regional Director on the Mid North Coast, said the resources included mental health support, recovery assistance and safety advice.
“Support is here to help you get back on your feet, and we encourage all affected businesses to make use of these services,” he said.

We push for fairer, more affordable insurance
Business NSW knows how tough rising insurance costs have become for businesses. That’s why we’re calling for changes to make insurance fairer, simpler, and more affordable, especially for those in disaster-prone areas.
One of the key things we’re fighting for is the removal of the Emergency Services Levy and stamp duty from insurance premiums. Right now, NSW businesses pay some of the highest insurance taxes in the country, and that’s not sustainable.
We’re also urging the development of more flexible, innovative insurance options, particularly for businesses in high-risk regions, so they’re not left without cover when they need it most.
