The Council of Australian Business Industrial (ABI) is elected by its members every four years, with the last election held in March 2021.  

Under ABI rules, an election is required this year to appoint 15 eligible members as officers. 

On 19 December 2024, ABI lodged the prescribed election information with the Fair Work Commission (FWC) to facilitate this process.  

On 14 January 2025, the FWC arranged for the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) to conduct the election for ABI Council officers.

Nominations close at 12:00 PM (AEDT) on 24 February 2025.
