Tamworth is the spiritual home of Australian country music and proudly boast the title as Australia’s Country Music Capital. The museum celebrates the instrument and many of its esteemed players, showcasing signed guitars from legends such as Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers and Keith Urban.
The historic Tamworth Regional Gallery has been displaying works since 1919, making it the second-oldest regional gallery in NSW. Exhibiting both local and international artists, the collections are well worth the devotion of some solid hours. After visiting the Regional Gallery the boutique Weswal Gallery showcases contemporary works from local, regional and national artists.

Barraba is proudly home to Barraba Silo mural, a 40-metre-tall painting by artist Fintan Magee of The Water Diviner. And Nundle is a major tourist destination in its own right, with quirky events, great retail experience and a stunning working woollen mill which subtly encourages visitors to contribute to the local economy.
