“Taking part in the NSW Tourism Awards is an opportunity to discover the full potential of your business and build your reputation within the tourism industry and broader community,” said NSW Tourism Industry Council Executive Manager, Greg Binskin.
“Managed by the NSW Tourism Industry Council in partnership with Destination NSW, the awards offer all businesses operating in the NSW visitor economy the opportunity to unite in celebration of the outstanding innovation and resilience they have shown over the past few years and be rewarded for their massive efforts to recover,” Mr Binskin said.
Entering these awards is fantastic opportunity to be considered for national honours and spotlight your business with domestic and international visitors.
“The NSW Tourism Awards recognise winners in 27 business categories, two individual excellence categories and the Judges’ Tourism Star Awards to honour outstanding resilience and innovation.
“Award categories capture a range of tourism services across the broader visitor economy including tourist attractions, festivals and events, tourism restaurants & catering services, tourism retail & hire services, business event venues, new tourism business and accommodation.
“Winners will be announced at a gala celebration to be held Thursday 17 November at Luna Park Sydney. As a national program, winners of select categories automatically receive entry to compete at the Australian Tourism Awards.
Minister for Tourism Stuart Ayres said the 2022 NSW Tourism Awards were a great opportunity to acknowledge and promote our tourism operators.
“The NSW Tourism Awards celebrate the outstanding contributions the industry has made to the NSW visitor economy over the past 12 months and its commitment to delivering premium products and experiences to visitors,” Mr Ayres said.
“With the NSW Government due to host the 2022 Australian Tourism Awards, entering these awards is a fantastic opportunity to be considered for national honours in your home state and put your business in the spotlight with domestic and international visitors.”
